For Those Who Want to Be Involved in the Farewell
For many people, grief and farewell feel passive — things are done to you, for you, or around you. Sacred Wings workshops offer another way: a space where you can take part, make with your hands, and reclaim a sense of agency, tenderness and presence in the face of loss.
Workshops include:
Shroud-Making & Personal Farewell Cloths
Create or co-design a burial shroud or memorial cloth for yourself or someone you love. This can be done in anticipation, in active grief, or simply as an act of legacy and love.
Memory Mixed Textile Rituals
Using cloth as a container for story and remembrance, these sessions guide you in transforming garments, linens or inherited fabrics into ritual pieces that hold grief gently and beautifully.
Using Creativity to Open Conversation about Death and Dying (facilitated as Luna Arts collective)
